Which means single remote convenience and a degree of control intelligence. Press CD on the remote from cold, for example, and both the CD player and the amp power up and the amp automatically switches to CD input… the system’s slick lifestyle touches haven’t been gained at the expense of solid hi-fi credentials; by making the minimum number of concessions to half-pint convenience and gimmickry the Cameo wears its purist colours on its sleeve… you’ll have difficulty tucking this one away in a corner, but then it really is too good for that.
