1996 The MC100 CD Player, MP100 Preamplifier and MA120 Power Amplifier are launched and receive 5 Star reviews.
1997 The MCD500 CD Player is launched, winning a 5 Star review in What Hi Fi?
1998 The Budget Esoterica T-Series is launched, along with the MT100 FM Stereo Tuner.
1999 The MDP500 Preamplifier Processor, MA240 and MA360 Power Amplifiers are launched to 5 Star reviews.
2000 Classic Cameo launched. The MDP500 Preamplifier Processor wins the Best Buy 2000 award from What Hi-Fi?
2001 Z Series replaces the T Series. The MDP500 Premaplifier Processor wins What Hi Fi Best Buy & Stereophile’s Guide to Home Theatre Gold Award. The MDV200 DVD Player is launched, winning Editor’s Choice from Essential Home Cinema.
2002 Myryad win a number of international awards including Choc de la Musique (France) & AudioVideo Best Buy (Russia)
2003 Z Series wins Choice for Quality and Ease of use in the Hi Fi Design Yearbook (Germany), with the Z122 DVD Player also winning Product of the Year in Essential Home Cinema (UK). CameoTheatre is launched to critical acclaim.
2004 The MX Series is introduced, superceding the M Series as Myryad’s premium range.
Myryad Systems Limited is a privately owned company incorporated in Britain in 1996, with design, administration and manufacturing facilities based in Waterlooville in Hampshire. From the beginning, we set out to offer a distinctive high quality performance in a market-place where all too many other products did not. Against an industry background where top performance was frequently possible only at the expense of indifferent appearance, poor reliability and high cost, Myryad’s declared philosophy was to create and market a complementary range of high quality audio and a/v separates which offered outstanding performance, graceful aesthetics, first-class reliability and exceptional value for money – all backed by exemplary service levels.
